Semester 2 started with the continuation of creating and analysing patterns. We moved from concrete patterns to more abstract, students creating their own number patterns.
Students have really been using their planning skills as they began the research process for their artist research for How We Express Ourselves. Students had many questions they wanted to learn about artists, such as: "When we they born?" "What inspired the artist?" "Did the artist come from a family of artists?"
Using those planning and organising skills, students also created stories using a comic frame. They came up with original characters such as a pigeon and donuts! The planned out the stories using their images and are now in the process of developing their ideas to engage their readers! Stay tuned for those stories!
