This week G2.2 spent time getting to know each other. We are lucky to have two new students, Joyce and Tanisha, join our ISS community. They have been settling in nicely with veteran students!
Although this week was short, students were able to visit a few integrator classes already. Students already had two Mandarin classes, P.E., and Performing Arts. We read a few stories together and talked about how we can demonstrate the 4Be's: Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Honest. We are also practicing living the Learner Profiles attitudes and attributes in everything we do.
Our units will be begin on Monday. We will be studying number and pattern in math, as well as establishing and continuing practices learned last year in our literacy programme, Daily 5. Our first Unit of Inquiry: Who We Are also begins. Our central idea is: Communication builds relationships. Our lines of inquiry and unit dates can we found on Managebac.
