This week our research of habitats and food webs was in full swing. Students are learning so much about the interconnectedness of the living things in the environment. We finished reading "Darcy Moon and the Deep-Fried Frogs", which taught us about what can happen when an animal dies out of its habitat! It changes the entire habitat and other animals die out too.
Students are investigating poetry and comparing it to stories. There are many similarities between the two, but also many differences! And finally, we've made a connection between division and fractions! It's also been fun to play division bingo! At assembly it was really great to listen to our talented, Mia, play her guitar. Thank you to Mia and Ayesha for sharing their learning about their unit in the Grade 3-5 assembly! And - Arwyn, Lucy and Emma are going to team up with some girls in Grade 4 in the ISS FC (Friendship Council), to help students solve problems they have with their friends! Great action this week!
